Description
Properties of Amelanchier Robin Hill
An ideal tree for a small garden, this Amelanchier is a small dense tree, producing an abundance of star shaped flowers. Flowers appear light pink when budding and turn to white as they open. In fact the warmer the weather, the more white the flowers become.
Similar to the leaves of the Amelanchier Ballerina Tree, they start off copper and turn to green in Summer and then to bright shades of red and orange in Autumn.
Autumn also brings berries that darken over time from dark red to black.
The Robin Hill are resistant to wind and frost and will thrive in most soils.
